Join the Celebración de las Mujeres Rurales from October 15 to 18 at the Museo Regional de la Costa Oriental in Tulum! This event celebrates the contributions of rural women to the conservation of the Mesoamerican Reef, and all activities are free and open to the public.
On Thursday and Friday, you can participate in workshops focused on pricing strategies with the Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico and Nacional Financiera from 10 AM to 2 PM. Then, on Thursday afternoon, don’t miss the dialogue session with rural women from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Sunday is packed with fun activities, including a birdwatching walk and a children’s workshop from 9:30 AM to 11 AM, followed by a market showcasing rural women's products from 10 AM to 5 PM. Enjoy puppet shows inspired by the Popol Vuh at noon, and wrap up your day with an open salsa class from 3 PM to 4 PM. This is one of the best things to do in Tulum for free, so bring your family and friends to connect with the women behind these initiatives and enjoy a day of nature, culture, and community!
