   Hotel Pickup and Transport

   Round-trip ground transport runs between your hotel or designated meeting point and the park entrance. Wristbands are handed out on the bus before you arrive.

   Underground Rivers and Waterways

   The park's water circuit covers multiple channels: the Underground River, Blue River, Mayan River, Manatee River, Paradise River, and The Inlet. Open beaches and natural pools are also part of this section.

   Flora, Fauna, and Wildlife

   Wildlife areas include the Butterfly Pavilion, aviary, crocodile habitat, bat cave, Jaguar Island, Deer Shelter, and Mammal Island. Tapirs, howler monkeys, and sea turtles occupy the grounds alongside a reef aquarium and an orchid-and-bromeliad museum.

   Cultural Zones and Archaeological Sites

   This zone holds a Mayan Village, two chapels, a Mexican folk art museum, a Day of the Dead cemetery installation, and a Stained Glass Plaza. A pre-Hispanic ball court and archaeological ruins are also within this section.

   Live Shows and Performances

   Daily programming includes a harp recital, pre-Hispanic dances, traditional costume presentations, a horse exhibition, and the Voladores flying ceremony. The evening ends with a full-cast Mexico show featuring over 300 performers.

   Optional Paid Upgrades

   A menu of paid upgrades is available on-site: dolphin programs, snorkeling tours, reef Snuba, spa treatments, a temascal sweat lodge, stingray encounters, a dinner show, and a children's adventure program. None are part of the base ticket.

   Ticketed Adventure Activities

   Three separately ticketed activities are purchasable on-site. Adrenalina jet boat: minimum age 9 years or 4.5 ft (137 cm). Sea Trek: minimum age 8 years; helmet fitting required before entry. Snuba: minimum age 9 years; swimming ability required; briefing takes 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes in the water.

   Plus Option Dining

   Guests who book the Plus option receive one buffet lunch, one beer, and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks — soft drinks, flavored water, and coffee — consumed during the meal. Basic option guests pay separately for all food and beverages.

Round-trip hotel pickup is included with this tour — we'll pick you up at your hotel or the nearest available point on our route in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, or the Riviera Maya. To confirm your exact pickup time and location, message us through your reservation or call us at least 24 hours before your visit date. Non-hotel stays (Airbnb and similar): use the nearest designated public meeting point. For Playa del Carmen, use Plaza las Perlas. For Cancun, use Base Xcaret. For Tulum, use Aloft Tulum. For Puerto Morelos, use Hotel Hacienda Morelos. If your address is not a hotel, provide your complete street address — including street name, house number, postcode, and city — at the time of booking. Arrive 15 minutes early at your assigned location. Your guide will wear a red T-shirt with the Xcaret logo and will call out the tour name. When boarding, present a printed or digital voucher, a photo ID, and the credit card used to purchase. Your park wristband will be issued on the bus. Notes: Travel time to the park ranges from 30 to 90 minutes depending on your hotel's location. The bus is shared with other park visitors. We cannot guarantee pickup from a property where you are not a registered guest. If you have not yet booked a hotel, contact customer service at least 24 hours before your visit to coordinate a pickup location.

A full refund is available if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure. Cancellations made inside that window are not eligible for a refund. Date changes are accepted within the current calendar year and may be subject to seasonal fare differences.
