Under the guidance of Daniel Gaeta, a musician and instructor with over 16 years of experience, you'll learn to create an Octagonal Drum (Chamanico, Pahuehuetl). The experience will begin with a brief explanation of the drum's significance, followed by a deep connection with your ancestors and the guardians of your new drum. Each step of the process, from carving wood to cutting skin and weaving, will be approached with mindfulness of the emotional and spiritual meanings behind your creation. You'll leave with your own crafted drum, symbolizing your heart's rhythm.
